Dome Fiber Optic Splice Closure

The optic closure plays a main role in optic fiber cable outside plant as its capability to protect the optic fiber cable from risks of damages, and also the requirement of optic closure function is upgraded upon the technology progress, the traditional usage of optic closure is to provide a safety place for fiber optic cable to be spliced and managed, and as the FTTx technology is getting popular in telecommunication industry, the extra functions such of PLC splitter installation and adaptor plate for drop cable termination are adding into the design of optic closure, which can support the new infrastructure and to extend the application.

 

This optic closure model LPSC-216 is the example of above description of new application, which equipped up to 16pcs of splice tray and 12 core splice capacity per splice tray, the total splice capacity is up to 192 splice, and on the back of splice tray system is storage plate for accommodation of optic fiber cable and extra adaptor plate for SC adaptor.

 

The function of this model optic closure is more than traditional types which normally for optic fiber splice, protection and management, LPSC-216 have extra function of PLC splitter installation and drop cable terminal, can be used for new FTTx and PON infrastructures.

 

Same as other of our optic closures, this model of closure can be used for most optical fiber network and provide excellent ability for harsh environmental protection and long service year configuration, this closure has 6 pcs of round ports for optic fiber cable branch or distribution, and one oval port for uncut cable inlet, air valve for tightness test and GND for ground is optioned per request, this optic closure is IP68 rating and suitable for both U/G and aboveground environment.
